Brandon + Carly | Wedding Photography
I have known Carly and her family for pretty much my entire life. We grew up in the same town and that resulted in playing softball together, having fun at summer rec, and going to the same school. So, I was pretty excited when her and Brandon decided to have me photograph their wedding; I knew it was going to be a fun day!
If you are in the Aberdeen area and planning a wedding you should definitely give Carly a call, haha. She is basically a professional and for sure one of the most organized brides I have come across so far! I am a bit of a stickler when it comes to schedules so normally that falls on me to make sure everything happens on time. Well, I didn’t have to worry about that for even a second! Carly was a take charge type of bride; my favorite kind 🙂
At the start of the ceremony they had Carly’s dad sing the Lord’s Prayer. I thought that was a really neat addition to the service. They also recited their own vows which I loved! The entire ceremony was sentimental and sweet. I may have to borrow some of their ideas for my own someday wedding.
From there we headed to the fair grounds for the reception. The joint was decked out in purple, silver, and black decorations. They spent lots of time putting together cute little signs and other details to make the venue special. We ended the day of shooting, swatting off mosquitos and trying to avoid mud. The few sunset pictures we got are some of my favorite though, so it was worth it in my eyes!
Brandon and Carly- congratulations on tying the knot; I am super glad to have been part of your big day and wish you all the happiness in the world!
